LaFayette High School Totally Eighties Class Reunion Set For Oct. 12

The LaFayette High School Totally Eighties Class Reunion will happen again on Saturday, Oct. 12, 6-11:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga Trade and Convention Center, 1150 Carter St.  

The reunion is open to anyone attending or graduating during the late-70s to early-90s and teachers during those years. 

Registration prior to April 1 is $35 per person, and from April 1-Oct. 1, cost is $45 per person. Mail reservations to Ales Campbell, 974 Shinbone Valley Road, LaFayette or pay via PayPal to yourbrighteyes65@aol.com - and include your graduation year, if applicable, and the name of your guest(s). No reservations will be taken at the door.

Feds Dismiss Charges Against Rarity Developer Mike Ross

Federal authorities have dismissed an indictment against Mike Ross, the developer of a floundering Rarity Club project at Nickajack Lake in Marion County. Head Of BB&T's Chattanooga Commercial Banking Operations To Plead Guilty To Making Fraudulent Loans

The head of BB&T's Chattanooga commercial banking operations has been charged by federal authorities with making fraudulent loans. Tracy Brown is set to plead guilty to bank fraud on June 4.
