Reggie White Boulevard from Main Street to 19th Street will be closed on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, for the Chattanooga RV Show.
Riverfront Parkway/Riverside Drive will be closed from Power Alley to Lindsay Street, the curb lane of eastbound Riverside Drive from Lindsay Street to the Boathouse Restaurant at 1102 Riverside Drive, the southbound curb lane of Mabel Street from Battery Place to East 5th Street, Douglas Street from East 5th Street to East 10th Street, East 11th Street from Douglas Street to Houston Street, southbound King Street from East 10th Street to Market Street, the southbound curb lane of Market Street from King Street to the Chattanooga Choo Choo entrance, Johnson Street and East 14th Street from Main Street to Market Street, East 14th Street from Market Street to Cowart Street, West 13th Street from Cowart Street to Chestnut Street, Chestnut Street from West 19th Street to West 11th Street, West 11th Street from Chestnut Street to Broad Street, the inside northbound curb lane of Broad Street from 11th Street to Aquarium Way, and Chestnut Street from Aquarium Way to Riverside Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, for the Chattanooga Challenge. There will be truck detours posted at northbound Riverfront Parkway and ML King Boulevard. For inbound traffic from Riverside Drive, the road will open at 5 pm but motorists are advised to still take the Lindsay Street detour to avoid congestion and delays.
The eastbound curb lane of Frazier Avenue from North Market Street to the Walnut Street Bridge, Walnut Street from the south end of the Walnut Street Bridge to East 3rd Street and the westbound curb lane of East 3rd Street to High Street will be closed and streets in the Bluff View Art District will be congested with pedestrians on Sunday, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. for the Chattanooga Cares Strides of March. No streets will be closed in Bluff View Arts District, Coolidge Park and Renaissance Park, but motorists are advised to watch for pedestrians in these areas.
