Police said a thief ran out the door with some jewelry at the Brainerd Walmart.
A white male was examining a 10 karat gold necklace and a 10 karat gold bracelet. When a clerk left the items on the counter, the man reached over and grabbed the items that are worth $546.
The man was wearing a red shirt and blue jeans.

At Office Coordinators on Main Street, thieves stole four batteries though owner Tripp Goodman had them secured with bars and chains after a previous burglary.
They were taken from four semi-tractor trailers.
The batteries are worth $150 each.

Dexter Thompson of Sweetbriar Avenue suffered his fifth burglary in five years.
This time it was an attempt as the thief apparently did not get inside.
Muddy shoe prints were found on a side door and a front window was broken.

A black male about 5'4" and wearing a brown jacket entered the Dollar General on Brainerd Road.
He exited carrying a large package of diapers and some toilet paper.
He did not bother to pay for the $16.95 in items.

Leroy Fitch of Taylor Street said someone stole his 2008 Dodge Ram about a year after it was stolen from the same spot.
He spotted the vehicle and followed it to Hamilton Place Mall, where several people were found inside the Ram.
Police charged two juveniles with theft over $10,000.
The driver had the key to the vehicle - apparently from the first theft.
