Pete Intza is leaving his post as media relations director of the Chattanooga Lookouts.

He has accepted a position with Full Media of Chattanooga.

Intza will also be attending grad school.

He joined the Lookouts in 2007, handling the media and public relations, as well as the team's website and social media platforms. Also, during home games he served as the Lookouts' on-field emcee.

Intza began his Minor League baseball career with the Greenville Bombers under the tutelage of Rich Mozingo. He also worked for The Greenville News, Spartanburg Stingers, and NFL Films during his time at Furman University, where he earned his BA in Communications Studies.

A native of Bath, Maine, he enjoys playing guitar, reading, writing, and spending time with his wife, Lauren.

Three people have been charged in Raleigh, N.C., with the murder last week of a 30-year-old woman, who had just moved from Cleveland, Tn.
