Fund To Be Set Up To Support Public Art

The city is setting up a fund for the support of public art.

The Community Foundation will accept private donations from those who want to support public art.

The city has a public art program with many pieces privately funded and a few with public funds.

Mistletoe Market To Benefit Alzheimer's Association Is Friday

Mistletoe Market, a fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association and Grace & Mercy Ministries in Athens, will be held on Friday from 2-4 p.m. at Morning Pointe of Chattanooga, 7719 Shallowford Road.  Local vendors will have booths set up with a variety of gifts for sale.  Many items will be handmade. HCSO Safe Journey Conducts Child Safety Seat Check

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Safe Journey personnel will be conducting a child safety seat check at the Chuck E. Woman In Critical Condition After Being Shot In The Face Saturday Night Near O'Rear Street

A woman is in critical condition after she was shot while driving in Chattanooga on Saturday night. Just after  9 p.m. , the Chattanooga Police Department responded to reports of a person shot.
