Chattanooga Filmmaker/Comedian Seeks Cast For New Web-Based Comedy Series Outpatient

Outpatient is a comedic single-camera multi-episode series from writer/director/comedian Joel Ruiz. The series revolves around an outpatient rehab program and the bizarre and frequently funny cast of characters forced to attend.

Mr. Ruiz seeks to cast the pilot episode of his series with a cast of talented and professional Chattanooga actors and actresses as well as folks from 18 to 35 years of age to act as extras and bit players.

Among the roles to be filled are:

Main/Recurring Roles
Mark Waters (lead) - White male, mid 20s, avg build. Under achiever, very complacent with his life.
Stephanie - White female, mid 20s, attractive. Mark’s girlfriend.  Arrogant know it all, feels likes she is better than most.
Darrel - White male, mid 20s. Over confident, breezes through life easily with out effort. Mark’s oldest friend.
Barry - White Male, 35+. Head counselor of the clinic. Alcoholic and drug addict as well as very odd. But can put on appearances like he is put together.
Gary - Black/Hispanic male, 30+. Assistant counselor, stocky/buff build. Ex-cop that is a born again Christian with rage issues.
Rachel - White female, teenager, cute love interest of Mark. 
Hillis - White male, teenager, avg build. Friend of Mark’s in rehab.
Kyle - White male, teenager. Stoner hippie, dreads preferred not necessary.
Dale - White male, teenager but looks much older. Fat and dumpy looking, speaks slowly with long breaths in between. Acholic/huffer.
Henry - White male, teenager. Skinny dance party kid who does a lot of upper.
Debbie - White female, pre-teen. Slightly pudgy/husky, pill addict.
Special K - Black male, teenager, avg build. Silent and looks slightly catatonic.
Carol - White female, teenager. Strung out and skinny. Heroin addict.
Phillip - White male, teenager. Dumb over aggressive jock. Athletic build.

Sean, Walter, Jared - Race varies, mid 20s, varying builds
Waitress - Race vary, mid to late 20s, avg build
Heather the receptionist - White female, mid 20s to early 30s, avg build.
Adult rehab patients - Race varies, late 30s+, varying builds but all sad and beaten down looking people that would be in a rehab program
Youth rehab patients - Race varies, teenagers, varying builds.
