Great Vigil Of Easter At Good Shepherd Episcopal

The Maundy Thursday service at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 211 Franklin Road, Lookout Mountain, will be at 6 p.m. in the Nave. 

Good Friday services will be at noon in the Nave, 5:30 p.m. stations and 6:15 p.m. in the Nave. 

On Holy Saturday, the Great Vigil of Easter will begin at 8:30 p.m.

On Easter Sunday, Rite I Holy Eucharist will be at 7:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II at 9 a.m. with Flowering of the Cross, and Releasing of the Allelulas with music led by the Adult Choir and Brass.

At 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II and baptism with music will be led by the Adult Choir and Brass. The Rev. Robert T.J. Childers will preach at all services.

2 People Shot In Chattanooga Overnight; Dequan Duke In Serious Condition; Frank Russell Has Minor Injury

Two people were shot overnight in Chattanooga.   Dequan Jamal Duke, 24, was in serious condition.   Frank Russell, 22, had a minor injury in a separate incident.   Chattanooga Police responded at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday to a person shot at 2300 Wilson St.   The victim, Dequan Duke, arrived at a local hospital via a personally owned vehicle ...
