Dr. Ainissa Ramirez To Speak At Chattanooga State Friday

Distinguished scientist and long-time Yale University professor, Dr. Ainissa Ramirez, will speak at Chattanooga State Community College this Friday. Her visit, which coincides with the college’s celebration of Women’s History Month, brings attention to the extraordinary achievements of women working in STEM-related industries.

Dr. Ramirez’s presentation begins at 10 a.m. in the Humanities Theatre and will be an interactive discussion about the importance of promoting STEM education.  The event is open to the public, and admission is free.  Chattanooga State is located at 4501 Amnicola Highway.
