Fishing Tournament Offered Saturday On Lake Chickamauga

A fishing tournament to benefit the Catch ministry will be held on Saturday. Launch is at 7 a.m. from the Grasshopper Creek ramp on Lake Chickamauga.

The tournament is part of the Catch Tournament Trail and has a $500 first place guarantee.

This is an open tournament.

You can pre-register at Cherokee Pharmacy in Cleveland from 4-6 p.m. on Friday. You can also sign up at the ramp on Saturday at 6:30 a.m.

Launch positions will be on a first-come-first-serve basis, with blast off in groups of 20 on Saturday morning.

Program Change For April Nature @ Noontime Program

A change has been made for the program for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s April Nature @ Noontime program. The new program will be presented on Native Bees: The Unknown Soldiers . Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency will again be part of the Nature Fest held on  Tuesday, April 16 through Friday, April 19  at Pennebaker Hall on the Tennessee Tech University campus.
