Howard Taylor, 83, Was Victim In Tuesday Night's Accident On East Brainerd Road

Howard Taylor, 83, was killed Tuesday night in the traffic crash that occurred at 7 p.m. in the 9300 block of East Brainerd Road involving two vehicles.  

The first vehicle was a 1985 Toyota truck traveling east-bound on East Brainerd Road and operated by Christopher Denton, 19. The second vehicle was a 2006 Jeep Cherokee traveling west-bound on East Brainerd Road and operated by Mr. Taylor.

Mr. Denton was transported by Life Force to an area hospital due to the injuries he sustained in the crash.  Mr. Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene from the injuries he sustained in the traffic crash. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is on-going and any witnesses are requested to contact Investigator Stockburger at 423 893-3503, ext. 260.
