Wednesday, March 06, 2013
Honna Rogers has informed Signal Mountain officials that she plans to resign as town manager to spend more time with her family.
She said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed working for the Town of Signal Mountain. Our town is blessed with exceptional employees, who have helped me be successful in my job and who have been a pleasure to work with. I leave my position and my Council with the warmest regards. My husband and I are proud to be residents of Signal Mountain and look forward to raising our son here.”
Mayor Bill Lusk said, “We regret Honna’s decision to leave, but we certainly understand the
need to balance family and career. The council, town employees, and citizens of our community have benefited tremendously from the work Honna has accomplished in the last five years. We are sorry to lose her as a town manager, but we are glad we get to keep her as a friend and neighbor.”
She will help prepare the new budget, while officials seek her replacement.
