Uptown Big Band will perform at a Swing, Swang, Swung Friday.

The Signal Mountain Middle and High School Music Boosters are hosting their second annual Jazz Dinner and Dance, Swing, Swang, Swung on Friday at 7 p.m.

This year's event will be held at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church's Great Hall and will feature the high school jazz ensemble along with a professional group the Uptown Big Band.

Jed Mescon will be the emcee and auctioneer for the basket auction.

Last year's inaugural event raised money for the annual budget. This year they hope to carve out some of the funds to cover the transportation for the high school marching band to attend the Chick-fil-A bowl New Years Eve in Atlanta. The band was invited by the organizers of the bowl to perform at the game and a parade.

Tickets are available via email at smhsmusicboosters@gmail.com.
