Nolan Elementary Drama Club Presents "The Wizard Of Oz"

The Nolan Elementary Drama Club will present the musical "The Wizard of Oz" on Thursday, at 7 p.m. It will be held in Nolan gymnasium. Nolan is at 4435 Shackleford Ridge Road, Signal Mountain, Tn. 37377. The school phone number is 423 886-0898.  Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Officials said there are many educational benefits students can receiving from performing in a musical. Some of these skills include:

The Nolan Drama Club is open to Nolan Elementary students in grades third through fifth. Auditions are held in the fall and the production is held in the spring. Any Nolan students who would like to participate are welcomed.

Signal Council, Residents Concerned About Unsafe Driving En Route To Schools

The town council of Signal Mountain is dealing with a traffic problem caused by increased traffic to and from Signal Mountain Middle High School and Nolan Elementary.
