Lake Resort Drive Closed Friday For Repairs

Lake Resort Drive between Highway 153 and Lake Resort Terrace will be closed on Friday, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to all traffic for emergency road repairs. Detours will be posted using Hamill Road and Gann Store Road. 

This work is weather permitting.

Hixson Kiwanis Scholarship Dinner Will Be Held Sunday

The Hixson Kiwanis Ham and Chicken Dinner will be held on Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Hixson Middle School cafeteria.  The cost is $10, children six and under are free.  Carry-outs are available. City Council Approves 8-Story Height For Proposed Building Behind The Chattanooga Choo Choo

Lee University Social Media Threat Suspect Identified, Charged And In Custody

Lee University student Olayinka Opaso, from Nigeria, 18, confessed on Tuesday to a senior Lee University official about his involvement in the Yik Yak post describing potential threats to Lee University students.
