Desmond McClure Was Man Shot Multiple Times On E. Main Street In "Targeted" Killing

Chattanooga Police have identified the man who was shot and killed on E. Main Street early Tuesday morning as Desmond McClure.

At approximately 2:45 a.m., police responded to a shooting at 2510 E. Main, where they found McClure, 28, lying in the parking lot. The victim had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives believe that this was not a random shooting. At this time, there is no evidence to state it was gang-related, police said.
