Organ Masterworks Concert Offered At Signal Mountain Presbyterian

An Organ Masterworks Concert featuring Jason DuRoy, organist, will be Friday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, 612 James Blvd., Signal Mountain.  

The concert is free of charge and childcare will be provided.

Hear classics such as Bach's Toccata in F Major, Excerpts from Widor Symphonies 5 & 9, Max Reger's Fantasy on The Chorale "Wachet Auf" and lighter fare including Bach's "Jig" Fugue, and Lamare's Irish Air on "County Derry" (Danny Boy).

Joint Ash Wednesday Service

Washington Hills United Methodist Church will host this year's joint Ash Wednesday service with Rev. Firefighters Stop Fire At Local IHOP Restaurant

Chattanooga firefighters did not have far to go when fire broke out at the IHOP on Highway 153 in Hixson around  9 a.m.  on Friday.
