Tony Keith Spence, 48, of Dalton, GA, died Friday morning, April 26, 2013 at the local hospital. 

Tony was born November 20, 1964 in Dalton; and was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hayes Spence; a brother, Danny Spence; and his grandparents, Bob and Effie Young Spence and Marion and Estelle Williams Hayes. 

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Keesha Spence; granddaughters, Charity Marie Spence, Haleigh Ann Spence and Leah Faye Spence; father, Jack Spence; sister, Diane Kernea; nieces and nephews, Shannon and James Davis, Adam Catlett, Ashley Spence, Kristy Johnson and Cory Spence; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Tony Keith Spence will be held Sunday, April 28, at 1 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Scott Winters and Reverend Travis Martin officiating. He will be laid to rest at the New Hope-Kilgore Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with James Davis, Marshall Hayes, Daniel Hayes, Haskel Bartlett, John Swink and Joe Hayes serving as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 27 and after 10 a.m. Sunday, April 28.

Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel.
