Tennessee Wesleyan Celebrates Arbor Day With Tree Planting Ceremonies

Tennessee Wesleyan College celebrated Arbor Day with two on-campus tree planting ceremonies. One tree planting event was organized by TWC Junior Kimberly Key for her for final servant leadership project. The second tree planting ceremony was in honor of Ronnie Phelps, a former TWC baseball player who passed away this past December.

Lettie Pate Whitehead Scholarships Awarded For 2017

Lee University has awarded scholarships to 36 women for the 2017-18 school year. The Lettie Pate Whitehead foundation, a Georgia nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the education of female students, funded the scholarships.  A total of $92,250 was awarded for 2017-18.
