Monday, April 29, 2013

Farm to Fork, a local Ringgold restaurant, announced Monday that they will be hosting a fundraiser for Ringgold Middle School, which was severely damaged during the tornado on April 27, 2011.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 1, from 5-9 p.m. at Farm to Fork restaurant at 118 Remco Shops, Ringgold, Ga. 30736.

Farm to Fork will be donating 10% of the evening’s proceeds to Ringgold Middle School to help it buy necessary items, books and school supplies that were destroyed during the tornado.

“Our community has made a great comeback from the devastation, but as a lover of this community, I know there are still ways to give back and to continue to rebuild what was lost,” said Mike Manis, one of the owners of Farm to Fork.  “This fundraiser is part of our commitment to do that.”
