Charles Edwin Shook, Jr., 81, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, died on Sunday April 28, 2013.
A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, he was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Cagle’s Lawn and Garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Charlie” Shook Sr. and Clarabell Chadwick Shook; sisters, Jean Blackwell and Marcia Treece.
He is survived by his son, Doyle (Joyce) Shook of Tunnel Hill, and stepson, Ronnie Long of East Ridge; sister, Pat Babb of Tunnel Hill.; brother, Dickie Shook of Ringgold; two grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Shook of Ringgold, and Dusty (Kim) Shook of Acworth, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Layla Presley Shook and Lilly Claire Shook, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, in the funeral home chapel.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 20, from 3-9 p.m., and Wednesday, until the funeral time at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold.
