2013 Lip Dub Crew
Cleveland High School Broadcasting students organized and produced their third annual, school-wide, lip dub video project. A lip dub is a continuously shot music video which contains little to no editing. The video entitled, "I Wanna Beat 2013," includes a mix of four songs.
The entire student body, including athletic teams and fine arts organizations, participated in the production.
The production’s director, CHS Senior Caroline Ledford, saidd, "We started figuring out the songs in January, and then from there we decided what route we would take through the school. Then we started asking everyone to participate and practice. Now we are finally ready.”
Cleveland High School’s broadcasting instructor Jon Souders said, "The taping went great! The students had tremendous school spirit and everyone worked together to make an amazing end product.”
The 2010 Lip Dup received over 80,000 views from YouTube and SchoolTube. Last year's video received over 201,000 views from YouTube and SchoolTube.
