Hamilton County Democratic Party Biennial Leadership Convention Is Saturday

The Hamilton County Democratic Party will hold its Biennial Leadership Convention to elect new leaders this Saturday. Registration for qualified Democratic Party members will take place from 9-11 a.m., with the meeting commencing thereafter. The meeting will take place at the IBEW Local 175 headquarters, 3922 Volunteer Drive, Chattanooga 37406.

All registered Hamilton County Democrats are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Attendees will be asked to fill out the pledge form supplied by the state. The voter registration list from the Election Commission will be used to check voter registration, precinct and district. Precinct officer elections, district officer elections, and party officer elections will be held in that order. All registered Democrats are eligible to run for these offices.

Enterprise South Nature Park Has Trick Or Trail Saturday

Wally's Friends Spay and Neuter Clinic will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, at Northgate Mall from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.  The event will include a Spooky Pooches costume contest with celebrity judges.  Owners are encouraged to dress in costume as well.  Goody bags will provided for all participants. Charges Upgraded Against Avery To Murder After Victim of Chair Leg Attack At Moccasin Bend Dies

Charges have been upgraded to murder against Leviticus Avery, 37, after a man he allegedly attacked with a chair leg has died.
