Nominations For Outstanding Philanthropic Leaders Due May 31

Each November the Southeastern Tennessee Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals hosts one of the oldest and largest National Philanthropy Day celebrations in the country. This year will mark the 26th NPD on Nov. 19 at The Chattanoogan.

Every year at NPD public officials, dignitaries, not-for-profit organizations, volunteers, and donors will gather to recognize outstanding philanthropic leaders.  Nominations are now being accepted in the following categories:

Philanthropic Impact Award
Outstanding Philanthropist Volunteer of the Year
Corporate Philanthropist of the Year
Nonprofit Professional of the Year
Youth in Philanthropy

Norfolk Southern Promotes Public Safety In Dalton, Whitfield County, Ga.

Hamilton County Placed Under Winter Storm Watch

Hamilton County has been placed under a Winter Storm Watch with a prediction of freezing rain, sleet and snow for Thursday. The new wintry mix is slated to begin around midnight on Wednesday and continue through 4 p.m. on Thursday. Henry Hopes To Bring E-Filing To Clerk's Office This Year; Saving Almost $222,000 On Personnel
