Brower Scores Game Winner In CCS 1-0 Region Semifinal Win

Notre Dame Wins 8-0 Over Dekalb County

The Chattanooga Christian School boys soccer team had to travel to Murfreesboro on Tuesday for their Region 4A/AA semifinal game.  They met Central Magnet of Murfreesboro at the Richard Seigel Soccer Complex and came home with a 1-0 win. 

CCS freshman Josh Brower scored the game winner off an assist from Clark Marshall in the first half. 

Notre Dame scored four goals in the first half and four in the second to beat Dekalb County in their semifinal win. 

Notre Dame and CCS will play each other for a third time this season on Thursday for the region title at Notre Dame at 7 p.m.



Lee Men, Women Fall 1-0 At Christian Brothers

Thanks to a goal just two minutes into the second half the Christian Brothers Bucs knocked off the Lee men's soccer team, 1-0 on Friday night on a muggy night in West Tennessee. A witness told a Criminal Court jury on Friday that Derek Morse told him "his emotions got the best of him" at a triple killing in Lookout Valley. Prosecutor Calls For "Meaningful Punishment" For Dyer, Brennan In $4.9 Million Swindle

Federal prosecutor James Brooks is calling for a "meaningful sentence" for Doug Dyer and James Brennan, who are charged in a $4.9 million swindle.
