Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, one of the fastest-growing self-serve frozen dessert franchises, plans to open a store late May in Brunswick at 8644 East Brainerd Rd.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt will utilize the leased space as its popular self-serve dessert concept and provide the people of Chattanooga with a family-oriented, visually uplifting environment to relax and enjoy a cup of froyo.

Details of a grand opening event will be released when the store opens.

Moe’s Southwest Grill at 1820 Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga, and 5510 Highway 153 in Hixson, is hosting its annual 2017 Cheese for Trees drive on April 1-22, in honor of Earth Day. Hamilton County Schools teachers are slated to get three percent pay increases under the balanced budget approved by the School Board on Thursday afternoon.
