Virginia Foster
Virginia J. Foster, 79, died on May 13, 2013 at a local hospital.
She was a former employee at Howard Johnson and Chattanooga Choo Choo.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Foster; her parents, Eliza and Robert McClendon; siblings, Ruby (Ralph) Brown, Daisy Rivers, Roy (Fannie) Price, Minnie (Bobby) Holston and Zoe (Henry) Slay.
Survivors include her daughter, Gwendolyn Foster-Norris; grandchildren, Ashley Davis, John Rollins, D’Angelo Foster, C. Lorenzo Foster, Cierra Norris; siblings, Emma (Nathaniel) Miller, Ella Vera (Arthur) Earvin, Ethel (Thomas) Hudgins; beloved nieces, Gwendolyn Miller and Emma Jo Jordan; beloved nephew David (Pamela) Earvin; a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Jimmy Ingram officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, May 17, and the family will receive friends from 6–7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
