Former Israeli Soldier Speaks At St. Paul's Episcopal

Einav Cahaner, an Israeli emissary who is spending a year with the Chattanooga Jewish community under the sponsorship of the Jewish Federation, will speak Sunday, at the 9:15 a.m. Adult Christian Education class at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 805 West 7th St. She will speak on "Israel and the Middld East Today Through the Eyes of a Former Israeli Soldier." The meeting will be in Huckabay Hall.

The Feast of Pentecost will be at 10:30 a.m. with a Festal Eucharist with special vestments and banners.

Holy Baptism will be offered. The parish Pentecost picnic will follow. Bring veggies, dessert or salad. Chicken will be provided.

Tony Williams, 26, Shot On Dodson Avenue Late Sunday Night

Tony Williams, 26, was shot late Sunday night on Dodson Avenue. Chattanooga Police responded at 11:50 p.m.,  to the 900 block of Dodson Avenue on a shooting.   Upon arrival, police located the victim who was suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
