CCS Girls Netters Head to State

Chargers Defeat Boyd Buc, 4-0

Chattanooga Christian girls defeated Boyd Buchanan, 4-0, Thursday at the Brainerd Tennis Courts in a D-I A-AA Tennis Sectional Championship.

The Chargers won all four matches in straight sets to improve to 12-1 on the season.

CCS will play for the state title in BlueCross Spring Fling XX next week in Murfreesboro, May 21-22.

It was a good Senor Day at McCallie Saturday as senior Jackson Mathis tossed a three strikeout, complete game win, 6-3,  against MBA in a D-II Middle/East Region game. Hamilton County Schools On 2-Hour Monday Delay Due To Weekend Storms

Due to this weekend’s storms and heavy rain that lead to numerous power outages and road closures, Hamilton County schools will be on a two-hour delay on  Monday . Angela Faye Parker, 50, Arrested In Stabbing On Glass Street

Angela Faye Parker, 50, was arrested early Sunday morning after stabbing another female. Chattanooga Police responded to 2302 Glass Street at 12:15 a.m. to an assault.
