Student From Chattanooga Wins Geoscience Award At Tennessee Tech

David Hunter, a student at Tennessee Tech, was one of five students to receive a winning department scholarship.

On April 22, more than 200 students, parents, family, and friends assembled in the Tech Pride Room at the university, to acknowledge many of the outstanding students, including five geosciences students. Bryan Blackburn, Heather Harris, David Hunter, and Audrey Pattat were recognized for winning department scholarships.

One of our newest students at Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy is joining the ranks of award-winning CGLA Mustangs. Sixth-grader Abigail Stone won the 11th Annual EPB Black History Month Poetry Contest in the 6th-8th grade category. EPB received 372 entries overall in this year’s contest.
