Churchwide Missions Lunch Is Sunday At Signal Mountain Baptist

A churchwide mission lunch will be at noon this Sunday, at Signal Mountain Baptist Church, 939 Ridgeway Ave. All donations for the meal will go toward youth mission trips this summer. A quarterly business meeting will follow. 

Dr. Steven Wright will speak at the 11 a.m. worship service on "What Is the Kingdom of Heaven Like?" with text from Matthew 13:31-34. 

Kingdom Rock Vacation Bible School will be Monday through Friday, June 3-7, from 9 a.m. to noon for children entering kindergarten through those who have completed 5th grade. There is no cost. 

Kids' Mini-Camp will be Monday through Thursday, June 3-6 for kids entering first grade through those who have completed fifth grade. The cost is $50 with $125 max/family. Camp plans include Hixson bowling, Rivercity Pottery, Doubledecker Bus Tour and inflatables.


St. Timothy's Hosts Family Mission Camp

Harr Outlines $40 Million Plan For Chattanooga Light Rail System

Outgoing Chamber of Commerce President Ron Harr on Monday outlined a $40 million plan for a Chattanooga light rail system that would serve not only downtown, but also the Airport and the Enterprise South Industrial Park.
