State Soccer Brackets Released

The state tournament brackets were released early Sunday morning. 

In Class A/AA Notre Dame will face off with White House at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday

East Hamilton drew Christ Presbyterian Academy on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.  

White House is currently ranked fourth in the state wide Eurosport rankings.  Notre Dame is seventh and Notre dame is seventh.

East Hamilton is ranked ninth and CPA is not ranked. 

In Division IIAA, Baylor will open the state semifinals on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Montgomery Bell Academy.  



UTC Women's Tennis Team Wins 4-3 Over Murray State

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team posted a 4-3 win over Murray State tonight.  The Mocs scored four victories in singles action at Baylor's Guerry Tennis Center.  Chattanooga fell behind early when the Racers took the doubles point.  Sophomores Delaney Edwards and Sydney Patton won at No. 2, but Murray State won No. 1 and No. 3 for ... Region 4-AA Tournament Matchups Set For Friday, Saturday

The District 7-AA and District 8-AA basketball tournaments finished this weekend with the top four teams advancing to the Region 4-AA tournaments.  The girls quarterfinals will be played on Friday, February 24.  Signal Mountain and Bledsoe County will host first round games.   CCS and Notre Dame will travel.   The girls semfinals will be played on Monday, ... Boyd Says He Is Not On Witch Hunt Against CVB, But Intends To Seek Full Audit Of Agency; Graham Backs Visitors Bureau 100%

County Commission Finance Chairman Tim Boyd has told Chattanooga Visitors Bureau President Bob Doak that he is "not on a witch hunt" against the CVB, but he said he intends to seek a full audit of the agency. Man, Child Killed In Crash On Highway 136 In Walker County; 2nd Child Who Was Seriously Injured Dies On Monday

A man and an unrestrained five-year-old child were killed when a vehicle went out of control on Highway 136 in Walker County on Saturday. A 10-year-old in the car was seriously injured, and later died on Monday. The driver was thrown from the van and was dead at the scene. Judge Doug Meyer Lived A Full Life Helping Many
