McCallie (14-10) used seven different pitchers to throw one inning each as the Blue Tornado defeated host Boyd Buchanan, 15-6, Tuesday.

McCallie was led offensively by Tyler Payne (4-5, 4 Runs, 2 RBIs, 5 stolen bases), John Hennen (4-4, 3 Runs, 2 RBIs, 5 steals), Matthew Brock (3-5, 3 RBIs) and Drew Vaughn (2-4, 2 Runs). Payne (2-0) picked up the win.

Two men who prosecutors say witnessed a murder in Hixson on Jan. 31, 2014, on Wednesday refused to tell their story to a jury. In Surprise Vote, Chattanooga City Council Turns Down Short Term Vacation Rentals

In a surprise vote, the City Council on Tuesday night turned down allowing a process to legalize short term vacation rentals in Chattanooga. Only Chip Henderson and Jerry Mitchell voted in favor.
