Suspect Sought In Shooting On Thursday Morning

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday morning.

Chattanooga Police responded at 10:12 a.m. to a shooting that occurred in the 2200 block of East 27th Street Court.  It was reported to detectives that the victim, LeMario Branham, 25, was sitting in a parked car when the suspect shot him and fled.  

Branham was transported to a local hospital in a personally-owned vehicle for treatment of the non-life-threatening injury.  

Detectives believe that Branham was targeted by the suspect and that this was not a random shooting.  

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it becomes available.
