This Sunday Is Youth Sunday At First Christian

First Christian Church celebrates Youth Sunday on May 26. Sunday School classes for children and adults meet at 9:45 a.m.; worship service and scripture readings led by the youth begin at 10:45 a.m. Fi Tran will present the message. Assistive listening devices are provided for members and guests with hearing loss while many Sunday services are captioned as well. All are welcome!


Regular outreach activities this week include NA meetings, Mondays and Fridays at 8 p.m. and Tai Chi on Friday at 11 a.m.


It’s not too early to sign up your child for Vacation Bible School from July 22-26; call 267-4506. This year’s theme is “Kingdom Rock!”

Extended Easter Sunday Service At Covenant Presbyterian

The Easter Sunday worship service at 9:30 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 8451 East Brainerd Road, will be an extended service with no other activities that day. "Overcoming Your Fear Of Death" Topic Sunday At Second Presbyterian

During the month of April Dr. Perry McCallen is leading a sermon series, "Overcoming Your Fear," at Second Presbyterian Church, 700 Pine St. His topic for Sunday at 11 a.m. will be "Overcoming Your Fear of Death," with text from Luke 24:1-12. Shots Fired Durng Armed Robbery At Rossville McDonald's

Shots were fired during an armed robbery at the McDonald's on Rossville Boulevard on Friday morning. Chattanooga Police responded to 740 East Henderson Drive at approximately 9:02 p.m. on Thursday for a person shot.  Officers located a black male victim who was suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
