Georgia Northwestern Announces Commencement Ceremonies

Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) will hold its southern location Commencement Ceremony on at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at The Forum in Rome, Ga. The college will present approximately 300 graduates with awards at the ceremony for summer 2012, fall 2012, and spring 2013 graduates.

GNTC will hold its northern location Commencement Ceremony at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton, Ga. The college will present approximately 100 graduates with awards at the ceremony for summer 2012, fall 2012, and spring 2013 graduates.

 


Eledge Named Distinguished Professor

Dr. Jean Eledge has been awarded the rank of “Distinguished Professor of French” by the Lee University Board of Directors. Gittens And Yang Take First Place In Lee’s Piano Competition

Benjamin Gittens and Hsin-Hao Yang took first place in the 11th annual Lee University piano competitions for the collegiate and pre-collegiate divisions, respectively. The award ceremony concluded the International Piano Festival and Competition held June 14-20. Boyd Asks Coppinger For Public Apology; Does Not Get One
