Police Work 6 Robberies, 46 Burglaries, 1 Rape May 2-8

Chattanooga Police worked six robberies, 46 burglaries and one rape in the period May 2-8.

Robberies were at 3838 Rae Trail, Washington Alternative School at 7821 Hancock Road, Big Daddy's at 3901 Dodds Ave., 4555 Tricia Dr., Wendy's on Brainerd Road, and Kangaroo Express at 600 Ashland Terrace.  

Burglaries were at 1306 Woodhill Dr., 805 Brynwood Dr., 313 McBrien Road, 5614 Spring Garden Lane, 3704 West Ave., 375 Warren Place, 4302 Howell Road, 1701 N.

Concord Road, 3912 Blanchard St., 3740 Thrushwood Dr., 10 Rose Circle, 3414 Kelly's Ferry Road, 1521 Hickory Valley Road, 1102 S. Watkins St., 1336 Grove St. Ct., 3805 Cummings Highway, Days Inn on Lee Highway, 7301 E. Brainerd Road, 6228 Airpark Dr., 3600 Hixson Pike, 5011 State St., 308 Chambliss St., 2187 E. 37th St., 900 Mountain Creek Road, 3510 N. Orchard Knob Ave., 2904 E. 47th St., 4604 Old Mission Road, 510 Central Dr., 720 Ely Road, 1735 Jeanaga Tr., 252 N. Orchard Knob Ave., 2300 Wilson St., 2011 E. 13th St., 4511 Rockford Lane, 2804 S. Thursday Afternoon Fire Displaces Family Of 3

Chattanooga firefighters rushed to a house fire shortly after  1 p.m. on Thursday  at 4214 3 rd  Ave. Lt. Chris Blazek with Quint 6 said smoke was showing from the eves of the house when the first firefighters arrived.
