Gloria James Bartee, aka, Gloria James Oliver, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died peacefully on May 17, 2013.
She was born Jan. 27, 1938 in Nashville, and grew up in Chattanooga, a member of Wiley UMC and a member of Howard class of 1955.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Bill) and Grace James of Nashville, TN; her husband, Richard Bartee Sr.; and son-in-law Avery Lewis of Las Vegas.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Weidner (Doug), Antoinette Lewis; son, David Oliver; grandchildren, Dillon Weidner, Danielle Weidner, Devon Weidner, Deanna Weidner, Anae Lewis and Aleksi Lewis all of Las Vegas; Rebecca Provine Cowan and Daniel Provine (Janice) of Chattanooga, and Alice Boswell Love of Gary, In.
A Celebration of Life will be May 31, at 10 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 545 Marion Drive, Las Vegas.
