Notre Dame, CCS Advance In District 7A/AA Soccer

The Notre Dame soccer team advanced to the District 7A/AA championship game with a 3-0 win over Signal Mountain on Tuesday.  Notre Dame will face off with CCS who beat Sequatchie County 5-2.  

The two teams will face off at CCS on Thursday at 7 p.m. 

Baggio Card scored two of Notre Dame's goals in their win over Signal Mountain.  

In CCS's win, Barrot Bickley and Josh Brower had two goals each.  David Drinnon also scored. Nick Russell and John Love had assists.   

The game was tied 1-1 at the half.  Sequatchie scored on an own goal and penalty kick. 


Hixson Volleyball Sweeps Boyd-Buchanan

Hixson and Boyd-Buchanan squared off in a non-district volleyball match at Hixson and the Lady Wildcats were able to win in three straight, claiming the victory by scores of 25-19, 25-20 and 31-29.
