Colonial Dame Of The Year Is Ruth Raulerson Jones

Prudhomme Fort Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century chose Ruth Raulerson Jones (Mrs. Burl Wayne Jones) as their chapter dame of the year.  Mrs. Jones was a member of the Hannah Dustin Chapter, CDXVII Century in Jacksonville, Fla. before transferring to the Chattanooga area chapter when she and her husband and daughter moved to Marion County.

Ms. Jones has served the local chapter as their registrar for the past five years.  She was a member of the Judge David Campbell Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution; and was in the Missionary Ridge Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
