Ernest Webb
Ernest D. Webb, 62, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013.
He was born August 17, 1950 in Marion County to the late Turner Webb and Gladys Roe Webb. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines from 1968 to 1972 and lived on Signal Mountain for about the last 20 years.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rose Webb; sister, Frances Nolan; and brothers, Perry and Leon Webb.
Survivors are his sister, Roxie Phillips; daughter, April Howard; two grandsons, Tommy and Dustin Howard; several nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga for their help. His long battle with lung cancer is finally over.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with Reverend Bobby Webb officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 24, in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
