Capping a season that was delayed by tornado warnings and record rainfall, Rollins FC won the 2013 Redoubt Soccer Championships on Sunday.  

In the blistering afternoon heat, the team scored four consecutive goals after falling to a two goal deficit in the first half.



Dalton State Blue Team Defeats Silver In Wednesday's Game

The Dalton State Blue team defeated the Silver Wednesday night 58-44, but the game was fun all involved. The second annual scrimmage gave fans a chance to see the 2014-2015 Roadrunners. The Lee women's golf team came up a few shots short in their attempt to repeat as champions as they settled for a third place finish at the 2014 NCCAA National Championship after the conclusion of play   on Wednesday   at the Hombre Golf Club . Walnut Commons, the first downtown apartment complex built in many years, sold for $15 million, one of the developers said.
