Edna Mae Harden, 75, of Cleveland, TN, died Saturday morning June 22, 2013 after a valiant battle with breast cancer.
Edna was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edna extended kindness to all she met showing the love of Jesus here on earth. She retired with 28 years of service from Bendix and enjoyed traveling in her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Harden; mother, Romaina Powers; father and step-mother, Jewel and Dorothy Prince; sister, Debbie Williams; brother, Ernie Prince; and great- granddaughter, Madison Nelson.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Linda Hardin; sons, Charles and Eric Browder; step-children, Teresa Davis and her husband Curt, Tim Harden, Roger Butler and Ronnie Harden; her sisters, Trudy Farmer and her husband Billy, Lois Beck and her husband Clyde and Beverly Welch; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews; and many friends.
A Remembrance of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 25 at the North Ocoee St. Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes with Pastor Johnny Moore and Rev. Anthony Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Cemetery with Chris Fox, Bobby Banks, Chad Davis, Nolan Davis, Caleb Harden and Sean Farmer serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 24 at the North Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Homes, who has charge of the arrangements.
