Ricky Andrew Sosebee, 50, of Resaca, GA, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at his residence. 

Ricky was born on September 23, 1962, in Georgia.  

He is survived by his parents, Charles and Sue Sosebee of the Ryo Community; son, Jamie Andrew Sosebee; daughter, Amanda Sosebee of Calhoun, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Scotty Lee and Carletta Sosebee of Waleska, GA and Jeffery Wayne Sosebee of the Ryo Community; his companion, Rhonda Huey and her children, Brandon and Sheena Huey of Resaca, GA;  grandchildren, Madison Olivia Sosebee and Abigail Leigh Stiles; nieces, Kendra and Sarah Sosebee; and great-nephews, Jaydon Pierce and Gunner Bowen.  

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ricky Andrew Sosebee will be held Tuesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove “Ryo” Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Owens  officiating. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at the Ponders Fairmount Chapel on Monday, June 24, from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday June 25, from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour. 

Arrangements are by Ponders Fairmount Chapel.

Robber Who Was Shot At Rossville Boulevard Car Lot Dies; No Charges To Be Filed

Police said a person who was shot during a robbery attempt at a car lot at 4314 Rossville Blvd. around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday has died. Police said the shooting has been ruled a "justifiable homicide" and no charges will be brought against 27-year-old Alan Miller.
