A Chattanooga couple wanted for the murder of a Marion County man has been caught in Georgia.

Oscar Delgado, 33, and Christina McLendon, 31, were located in Pierce County, Ga.

They are both charged with first-degree murder. On Saturday, the victim, Jeffery Jonathon Mora, 32, originally from California, was found in an old building at 21550 Highway 41 in Marion County.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a call stating that a man was bleeding severely at that location. Initially believed to be an accident, Mr. Mora was taken to Erlanger Hospital, where he later died.

The investigation revealed that he was murdered, though the cause of death is not known at this time, the TBI said.

Police had been looking for the couple traveling in a green 2000 Kia Sportage with Tennessee tag F1359R. They were arrested after the Kia was spotted in a driveway of a home. They were taken into custody without incident.

Delgado is originally from El Salvador.
