Kathy Mason
Kathy Ann Jones Mason, 64, of Hixson, Tennessee, died on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
She was the owner of Kathy’s Creations, a member of the New Salem Baptist Church, an avid motorcycle rider and a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School Class of 1968. Kathy was a jewelry designer, floral designer and home interior & exterior designer. She also loved to garden and work with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, W.S. and Ada Jones; two sons, Justin and Josh Kell; father, Jasper Jones and a sister, Karen Lynn Davidson.
Survivors include her mother, Roberta Jones of Ooltewah; loving husband, best friend and soul mate, Robert P. “Bobby” Mason; her loving Yorkie, Ebok; daughter, Sirbrenia Lynn Kell; son, Dustin Kenneth (Malissa) Everett, of Soddy Daisy; stepchildren, Robby (Jennifer) Mason of Hixson, Lori (Davy) Rose of Ringgold; father-in-law, Lee Mason, brother, Jackie Jones of Soddy Daisy, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with Reverend Ted Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.
Visitation is on Monday, July 15, from 5-9 p.m. and after 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
