Kick Off Of Inaugural Burgers With Berke Held Tuesday

Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke will hold his inaugural Burgers with Berke on Tuesday, from 12-1 p.m. at Armando’s at 7032 Lee Highway. 

Each month, Mayor Berke will block off his lunch break and invite citizens to join him at a burger joint somewhere in the city. He will hold a Burgers with Berke in each district of the city over the next several months. This lunch break will be an opportunity for citizens to hear an update from Mayor Berke as well as give him the chance to hear directly from Chattanoogans on the issues that matter most to them.


Chattanooga Man Arrested For Aggravated Robbery On 5th Ave.

Toriq Quinn Johnson, Jr. was arrested for aggravated robbery on Thursday.. Police were notified of a robbery that occurred on 4010 5 th Ave. on Wednesday. They spoke with Christopher Worley, who said that earlier that day he was in front of his residence when Johnson drove up and asked him if he wanted to buy some pills. Georgia Man Arrested For Aggressive Panhandling On Shallowford Road

Timothy Catlett was arrested for panhandling on Shallowford Road on Tuesday. Catlett was seen at Shallowford Road and Highway 153 stopping traffic and yelling at drivers who did not stop and give money. Police said that Catlett told drivers that he was a hurt Army veteran.
