Pair Charged In Aggravated Robbery At The King's Lodge

A man and woman have been charged with beating a man and taking his belongings at the King's Lodge on the side of Missionary Ridge.

Charged with aggravated robbery are Georgia Woods, 45, of Taylor Street, and James Lucious Goodrum, 45, of 127 South Seminole Dr.

Tilman Harris said he met Ms. Woods last Thursday and began partying with her in his room. He said she told him she was going to the bathroom, but she opened the door and let Goodrum in.

He said Goodrum hit him in the head with a Bud Ice bottle, shattering the bottle. He said Goodrum continued to beat him in the head and face.

He said the defendants stole his luggage, clothes, wallet and about $300.

Both Ms. Woods and Goodrum have extensive criminal records.
