Former Free Agent Pitcher Jadofsky Moves To Lynchburg

Braves Minor League Report: Thursday 718

Thursday, July 18, 2013 - by David Jenkins
A pitcher whose career has been largely below the radar, Zach Jadofsky, has been promoted from Rome to Lynchburg, while Matt Caffee was sent back a notch.

In 29 games for Rome this season, the right-hander out of West Florida University was a productive 6-3 with a pair of saves. He built off a strong 2012 at Danville (1.95 in 15 games). Jadofsky was signed as an undrafted free agent the week after the 2011 draft.
------------
Rangy third baseman Mike Dodig (6-4, 210)  celebrated his 20th birthday last week.
This week, he and his .300 average were promoted from Disney (Gulf Coast) to Danville.

Dodig was drafted in the 10th round of the 2012 draft, but hit only .174 in his debut season.
