Montlake Road Closed Thursday For Repairs

The Hamilton County Highway Department will be closing Montlake Road between Brow Lake Road and Terrace Falls Drive to all through traffic beginning Thursday, at 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

This is to allow the Highway Department time  to repair a section of roadway. 

Detours and/or advance notification will be posted at the several intersections, including Dayton Pike at Montlake, Poe Road at Montlake, Mowbary Pike at Montlake, and at the Soddy Daisy city limits on Montlake.

UTC Tuition Increase Approved; 1.8 Percent Increase Is Lowest In More Than 30 Years

UTC students this fall will see the lowest tuition increase in more than 30 years. An increase of 1.8 percent marks the third consecutive year of record low tuition increases approved by the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees for the system’s campuses.
