Woman Arrested After She Pawns Stolen Weedeaters

Police have arrested Trinity Nicole Metz after she pawned two stolen weedeaters.

Ms. Metz, 27, of 8520 Middle Valley Road, is charged with aggravated burglary.

Police said an investigation began June 27 on a burglary at 911 Masterson Ave. A woman was mowing her grass and had her garage door open. She went inside several times in between mowing.

She last saw the weedeaters around noon on June 24. She noticed that they were missing the next morning.

The Stihl weedeaters were located through Leads online at EZ Pawn at 5712 Lee Highway. Police said they had been pawned by Ms. Metz on June 26.

Video shows Ms. Metz carrying the stolen weedeaters into the pawn shop.

She is charged with theft of property under $500 in a separate incident.
